We are a small company manufacturing kits and detailing parts for rolling stock and lineside equipment from the introduction of diesel traction up to the present day.
Consequently, it is our intention to produce kits of rolling stock either in use at present or in the recent past, and to introduce new models as new prototypes are built.
We intend them to be of a high standard, but at a realistic and affordable price, so our profit margins will be kept to a minimum. This means they will only be available from ourselves.
At present, all kits are of etched brass construction with cosmetic whitemetal castings for axle boxes, springs, air reservoir, air hoses and brake cylinders where applicable.
They come complete with very comprehensive instructions, a scale drawing and the correct size wheels from our ‘Superoller’ range where appropriate,
and all other parts required to finish the model, except couplings, paint and transfers. We can supply most of these as extras if required. However we have decided to produce our Multiple Unit kits in plastic.
We have tried them in resin and brass, but construction was either too complex or not detailed enough. This means there will be a longer release date due to the increase in manufacturing time for the tooling.
We have also decided that future kits will no longer contain the detailed drawing as some people have been using these to make 'pirate' models, benefiting from our research time and capital outlay.
Your comments and ideas for future kits would be appreciated and we will try to cater for your needs if the market is there. The following pages list kits already in progress,
with their anticipated release dates and cost where known.
Demand for kits in production may affect the planned release dates, however, we will endeavour to honour these where possible.
